Taio's birth name is Adetayo Ayowale Onile-Ere he was born on April 23, 1983, his father is Nigerian, and his mother is Brazilian, he was born in London, United Kingdom. He started his singing career when he was just 19 year’s old, working as a songwriter for RedZone Entertainment.

But his own career with his manager as started when he was 21and began to become a very well known artist. He began his career in the United Kingdom and was able to come to the US.

Top music artist for June 1, 2010 is Mike Posner with “Cooler Than Me”.

The song “Cooler Than Me” was released in April and by the time June came around it was a hit not only in the US, but also in Australia, Ireland, and Canada.

Mike Posner, his birth name Michael Posner, was born in Michigan.

The song "Cooler Than Me" came about because in college at Duke University, Mike fell for a girl. She snubbed him and thought she was better than him. Hence the lyrics,

“You got designer shades just to hide your face and

You wear them around like you’re cooler than me

And you never say “Hey” or remember my name

And it’s probably ‘cause you think your cooler than me”

He made the right decision in writing this story about the girl who treated him wrong, but he won't tell who the girl is because he doesn't feel like she has the right to be actually have her name out there, to make her head bigger than what it must already be.

Mike Posner is a very good artist and am sure that he has many more amazing songs to come.
